Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa

The breakfast was delicious, something for absolutely everyone - even gluten free options. A brilliant incorporation of Greek food. We met the most incredible lady, Yianna, who became a friend to us. She guided us through all our meal experiences, wine, cocktails and history of the island as well as making us feel completely at ease and comfortable. I don’t think our holiday would have been half as good without her! The hotel facilities are immaculate, the pool, the individual pools, the spa, the bedrooms and everything inbetween was perfect. We will definitely be back and we can’t thank everyone enough for all their help in making our holiday the best.

We stayed at Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa and absolutely loved it. The hotel was clean, compact, and perfectly located — close to beautiful beaches, great restaurants, and the airport. The staff were always friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. Although the hotel’s proximity to the airport might bother some guests due to occasional noise, for us, each plane landing was like a fun little air show. Plus, there’s no air traffic after a certain hour, so it never disturbed our sleep. We genuinely felt at home during our stay. Thank you for everything!

Breakfast was lovely an peaceful by the pool, it's a small hotel so quiet and lots of choice. Coffee and tea served at your table and a egg menu also served at the table with a buffet style breakfast with lots of choice. Staff are amazing, helpful and very friendly. Our room was amazing 201, two bedroom 3 bathroom living area, lots and lots of storage and a beautiful seaview.

This is the second time of coming here and I'm so glad we did. Sometimes,, second time isn't always as remembered but in this case, it certainly was. I wrote a review last year but to summarise: this hotel is lovely and the staff are what make it that extra bit special. Everyone, from reception to the catering and dining staff to the cleaners are friendly, helpful and make you feel welcome. Nothing is ever too much. The hotel itself is an oasis of calm, overlooking the sea and the manicured gardens. With the main pool and the suit pools, it is like looking at an ocean of blue. Great rooms, extremely clean and very comfortable. Beautiful spa and a great fym too. And no, the proximity to the airport is not remotely an issue. No one is bothered. Please , please also eat at the hotel restaurant-Turquoise- the food is sublime and such good value. They even went out of their way to create a special traditional Greek menu just for us because we happened to mention that we liked mezze- like I said, they got out of their way to make you happy. A fabulous place to stay and we will be back again I'm very sure. To make the most of your stay, hire a car and visit Myrtos and Petani beaches or Fiskardo. Well worth the drive in all cases.
